“Cynisca Reborn,” is a short film written by Columbus, Ohio-based screenwriter Ryan Jaroncyk and based on the true story of his senior Olympic-medaling grandmother, Virginia Stenkel. Filmed in Columbus, Ohio, June of 2021, the short was nominated at the Treasure Coast International Film Festival for: Karen M. Chan for Best Performance, Steph West for Best Director, and Best Short Film. Starring Karen M. Chan, Lucas Bentley, and Kira Wilson.
